
Annual Dinner
The Annual Dinner is an opportunity for area developers, business and community leaders to gather together and celebrate the successes of the region over the past year. In addition to the Executive Director’s annual report, attendees will also hear from a keynote speaker. The Annual Dinner takes place on the fourth Thursday of January, centrally located in the Midwest Partnership region.

EntreBASH
EntreBASH is a networking and learning opportunity for entrepreneurs and small business owners to start or build their businesses. In addition to one-on-one business consulting, attendees will be able to learn best practices from area experts on ‘hot topics’ such as technology, insurance, and talent recruitment. Attendees will also have direct access to chat with regional service providers that offer a variety of resources specifically to enhance their business. EntreBASH typically takes place in April.

Golf Outing

Annual Awards
Economic Impact Award
The Economic Impact Award recognizes Recognizing outstanding businesses and individuals for making a positive impact on economic growth and prosperity in the Midwest Partnership Development Corporation region.
The applications are due back to Peter Johnson the 2nd Friday in January. The Midwest Partnership Annual Dinner is typically held on the 4th Thursday of January.
Entrepreneur of the Year Award
The Midwest Partnership Entrepreneur of the Year Award is an opportunity to highlight and share in the successes of our small businesses throughout the Midwest Partnership Region. Nominees must be businesses based in Adair or Guthrie County; and can be employees, owners and/or management teams who demonstrate some level of entrepreneurial success with their area firm. Self-nominations are accepted.
Success can be defined as significant increase in sales, securing a large contract, innovative process or entrepreneurial ideas that result in meaningful performance improvements in the firm. Success may also be from within the community, a positive workplace initiative, an example of community volunteerism and/or can simply be a unique product or service offering.
Judging will be based on the specific achievements highlighted in the award application, as well as impact to the region at-large, company employees, customers and other area businesses.
