Mission
The Midwest Partnership Corporation is a non-profit, collaborative economic development organization formed to strengthen the economic vitality of the communities of Adair, Greene, and Guthrie counties of Iowa.
This is accomplished by:
- Facilitating business development and addressing workforce needs
- Providing a support role to communities in commercial / retail, community development, and entrepreneurial growth
History
Midwest Partnership was created in early 1993 to focus on economic development activity in Adair and Guthrie Counties. Soon after, we hired our first executive director and financial support was secured from area businesses and government entities. In 2003, Greene County joined the organization, elevating us to our current three county membership.
