The Wambold Addition is a housing development implemented by Stuart’s Enterprise for Economic Development (SEED) on the east side of Stuart, near the high school. The goal of the development is to encourage new home construction to bring more residents to the area. Phase 1 began in 2013 with 32 lots. An additional 24 lots were made available for Phase 2 in 2018. Lots are available to anyone for free (except for legal and abstract fees), as long as construction is started within 6 months of purchase and completed within 18 months and the home meets building covenants.
