SCI TOO LLC has purchased the buildng at 122 NE Second Street in Stuart with the intention of buildng a movie theatre, and 61 seats have been sold. In order to proceed, the inital goal was to sell 50. The final goal is to sell all 85 seats planned for the theatre, and to have all the seats sold with the funds in the bank by Thursday, October 15. Local bowlers are lacing up their shoes and polishing their bowling balls. Today and tomorrow Panther Lanes in Creston will be busy with 260 area bowlers. Special Olympics volunteer Dr. Dennis Hopkins says it starts at 9 o'clock and end around 3 Friday. Saturday's competition begins at 9 and ends around 3 in the afternoon. Read more »
