More state money available to improve county

The Guthrie County Community Foundation is offering one more round of grants, according to Mitch Johnk, foundation board member.  Six $1,000 grants are being awarded.

Applicants need to be 501 (c) or tax-exempt equivalent organizations, and will be evaluated based on impact, organizational capacity, need, and local support.

Information and applications are available at the Guthrie County Extension Office in Guthrie Center, 641-747-2276.  Applications should be submitted to that office by Friday, March 30, 2007 at 5 p.m.
