Guthrie County Vedette, 7/19/2007
Paving of the three downtown blocks of Highway 44 began Wednesday and is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
Then it's scheduled for the streetscaping company to come on the scene and replace the sidewalks, according to Panora city administrator Jim Marwedel.
The paving is being done by the main contractor, Allied Construction of Charles City. The street will not be opened until the streetscaping is finished.
