Retired Greene County chief deputy sheriff Russ Hoffman has joined Rueters' sales team at its Grand Junction location.

Hoffman served for 28 years  before retiring in April 2011. "Rueters is a great company and the opportunity to work here was one I couldn't pass up," Hoffman said.

Born in Carroll County, Russ lives with his wife Connie in rural Scranton.

Rueter's in Grand Junction recently celebrated over 60 years in the business of sales, rentals and service of agricultural and construction equipment. The company has four other Iowa locations- Carroll, Ames, Elkhart and Council Bluffs. Rueter's is an authorized dealer and offers a full line of agricultural equipment, construction equipment, and utility vehicles for Case IH, New Holland, Hyundai, JCB and Kubota.  -The Bee
