Sid Jones, president of Home State Bank of Jefferson, announces that Katie Leusink is joining the bank staff as a teller.

Leusink, from Sioux Center, graduated this past May from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in animal science .

She and David Hoskins, whom she met at Iowa State University, will be married on December 1, 2012 in her hometown church in Northwest Iowa. They will live at Grand Junction.

Leusink enjoys spending time with her family and working livestock. She has always been very involved in the Sioux County Youth Fair, church activities, and singing.

"I am very proud to be making Greene County my new home and am excited to get involved throughout the community," Leusink said.  -The Bee
