Bell Tower entertainment announced —

Regardless of musical preference, the Plaza Stage is sure to please during this year's Bell Tower Festival!

Starting at 2 pm on Saturday, June 9, Zach Svoboda takes the stage. Svoboda is an acoustic-driven singer with a passion for God.

Following Svoboda at 2:45 will be the Joyful Noise Band, bringing back a mix of rock and gospel that has been entertaining audiences since 2005.

A brief interruption from the music has been slotted from 3:45 to 4 pm to allow for the Community Betterment Award.

Then at 4 pm it's back to the music with a small group of performing arts students from Iowa Central Community College. Iowa Central Summer Jazz will perform a variety of small jazz band music, including popular music from different decades in the swing and Latin styles.

Finally at 5 pm the Bill Riley Talent Search will begin. Hosted by the Greene County Farm Bureau, local talent will amaze the audience as singers, dancers and instrumentalists strive to advance to the Iowa State Fair competition in August. -Scranton Journal
